• Color fade comparison. Compare to a sample of the original color you should have on file. Noticeable fade indicates UV exhaustion.
• Adhesive bleed at edges. Yellowed adhesive visible at panel transitions suggests adhesive breakdown. Removal becomes harder past this point.
• Brittleness when touched. Vinyl that feels stiff or cracks under pressure is past useful life. Remove before it gets harder to remove cleanly.
